SAFETY AND HYGIENE

At the Manrique&Pedraza Dental Clinic our objective is to provide a faultless service regarding both technical and human aspects and to make the patient’s stay with us as pleasant as possible. In order to achieve these goals we offer our patients a highly qualified human team with considerable experience.

Sterilisation and disinfection at the dental clinic are two of the most important aspects in any medical speciality. All clinical instruments are immersed in disinfecting solutions for 10 minutes; subjected to an ultrasonic bath; washed with water, a brush, and enzyme soap; and dried, placed in bags, and sterilised in autoclave at high temperatures, humidity, and pressure. The surfaces of our clinic (tables, chairs, lamps, worktops…) are disinfected with appropriate chemical products.

All the material at our clinic that cannot be sterilised and disinfected is always thrown away after use, such asmasks, gloves, needles,tablecloths, glasses,scalpels… This process is recommended by the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the FDI World Dental Federation and we follow it strictly at our clinic.
